SILICONE EDGE GRAPHICS (SEG) ARE TAKING OVER!
Silicone Edge Graphics (or SEG) are everywhere these days. You may even have seen them without knowing you did. They are in airports, malls, retail stores, offices, and just about anywhere you would see a high quality or easily changeable print. These high quality fabric prints are referred to as Silicone Edge Graphics or SEG because of the way their edges are finished. They allow for easy insertion into a commonly available aluminum frame that is usually permanently installed.
We are increasingly being asked to produce this type of graphic and there are several reasons for doing so.
BENEFITS OF SILICONE EDGE GRAPHICS (SEG) VS TRADITIONAL SIGNAGE
1 – Frame cost is a single expense and can be shipped in a tube (vs. flat, which is more costly)
2 – Frame is easily installed and does not require special expertise (general contractor rather than specialized installer)
3 – Silicone Edge Graphic print can be folded compactly for shipping
4 – Silicone Edge Graphics are MUCH lighter than traditional graphics and are less prone to damage during shipping
5 – Silicone Edge Graphic can be installed into the existing frame by virtually anyone. No prior install experience is needed and the process takes only a minute or two
